Steven Permuy Steven, a Sales Director, began his direct marketing career at Database America as a researcher for its first business-to-business database compilation. Later, he became Sales Director for Database America's Wholesale division overseeing list rental, database licensing and processing services to this channel. After the infoUSA (then American Business Information) acquisition of Database America, he spent time at the parent's corporate headquarters in Omaha, NE, as part of a transition team. He left ABI to work for CAS, Inc. (Central Address Systems), a database marketing company based in Omaha, NE, as their Director of Corporate Development. There, he was responsible for new business and product development.
