Dev Bhatia Dev, founder and CEO, is a seasoned manager with a strong track record of aggressively growing online businesses. He has been actively involved in the Web since its early days as a commerce medium. Dev was one of the leading Yoyos at Yoyodyne, where he led teams that developed some of the Web's biggest promotions. After Yoyodyne's sale to Yahoo! in October of 1998, Dev founded HotSocket with a simple goal: to create and lead the synthesis of Direct Marketing and Web commerce. Before joining Yoyodyne, Dev developed business projects for firms including Time Warner Inc. and Screaming Media, a venture-financed Web startup led by Jay Chiat. Early in his career, Dev was a Product Manager at Tech Data, where he was responsible for shaping online news products for Wall Street. Dev received his B.A. from Yale University and his M.B.A. from Columbia University.
